Product Description

“The hardest gem of all is made of just one element: carbon. It’s valued for its colorless nature and purity. Most diamonds are primeval—over a billion years old—and form deep within the earth. Diamonds are among nature’s most precious and beautiful creations.” – via

A beautiful antique diamond ring features three generous diamonds set east to west across the top. Crafted in platinum and estimated to be from the early 1900’s. The decorative platinum mounting is accented by beautiful details including milgrain and pierced work typical of the period when it was made. Very pristine condition consistent with age and wear.

The center of the ring boasts a trio of graduating Old European Diamonds. The largest one, center, weighs approximately 1.02 carats, approximately J – K color and VS2 clarity, the two side diamonds weigh approximately .80 carats and .88 carats, approximately H – K color and VS2 – SI2 clarity. Additionally, there are accent diamonds: 7 “Swiss cut” diamonds at 0.38ctw and 5 European Round Brilliant diamonds at .28 ctw.
